We carry only Fraser Firs, a close relative of the Balsam Fir. While there are many reasons we prefer this tree above all others, three stand out.
Are you looking for a special wreath to hang on the door of your home, only to find that most retailers carry only one or two sizes? At Kimi Farms, we hand-make every wreath onsite, using only the fresh-cut boughs off our own trees. From a small 12” in diameter to almost 6 feet across, we can make just about anything you can imagine. Need something a little different? How about a mixture of Leyland Cypress, Pine, Cedar, or even Magnolia? All branches for our mixtures come fresh off of trees grown on our own property just south of Columbus, as fresh as the trees on our lot.
Your request is our desire, so don’t hesitate to share your ideas with our wreath-makers. They will see to it personally that what you want is what you get.

It’s hard enough picking the tree out, now you have to figure out how to get it home, drag it into your house and stand it up … straight! We’ll bundle your tree up, load it onto our truck, and deliver it to your house, ready to go. We’ll take care to move any furniture out of the way before bringing the tree inside and setting it in the stand. Once up, we won’t leave until you decide it is straight and standing in just the right spot. Need the lights put on? Ask someone else. But anything short of that we’ll do!

Here are a few Frequently Asked Questions and some scattered folklore we’ve picked up over the years. Feel free to believe all of it, none of it, or just the parts you like.
It died the instant it was cut from its roots. No amount of planting, watering, cloning, or electricity will bring it back to life. However, with a little preventative maintenance, you can keep your tree on life support throughout the Christmas Season.
First, refer to the previous question. Now that the grief has passed, there are a few simple things you can do to keep your tree looking and feeling fresh.
Before we answer this one, a few words of caution are deserved. All of the following items mentioned below are done so solely based on anecdotal evidence, including the stuff we sell. But we’ve had scientists tell us our stuff works. Then again, we’ve had doctors tell us vodka works as well. At any rate, anything you add to your tree’s water is your business, not ours. We can’t take responsibility for everything now, can we? Besides, with the water shortages around the state, we won’t promote any experiments that involve the willful wasting of water … but we’re always willing to hear about it.
There are a lot of answers to that question. The best answer is ‘YES’! The worst answer involves a lot of fire and a lot of I-told-you-so’s. Forget that the thing is wood in its purest form; the oils stored deep inside each needle are akin to gunpowder. Add in the fun fact that your average tree has about 1 million of these cute little matchsticks and voilá: you have a fire just waiting for an excuse. But fear not, friend! If you keep your tree hydrated and free of any direct heat, you can save your worry for something more important, like being nice instead of naughty, and whether the tree is crooked, or if it’s just the vodka.

No. He doesn’t really sleep. The cars flying by at 4am prevent that from happening. He mostly reads, talks to the trees, and practices his proficiency with a pistol.
We prefer our legends to remain just that, legends. If someone said it happened, it probably did, just how they told it. And if you hear someone else tell the story in a different way, it probably happened just like that, too. It’s a hard, strange life here at Kimi Farms, one couldn’t expect it to be otherwise.
